Laser cut steel connecting and coupling rods for Roundhouse Linda and Charles models.
Laser cut from steel, it is a direct replacement for the ones originally fitted to Roundhouse models. Our rods have a slight fish belly shape, as per the prototypes and come with brass overlays to represent the bearing brasses that surround the crankpin.

2x Laser cut steel blanks for the Coupling Rods
2x Laser cut steel blanks for the Connecting Rods
4x Laser cut brass blanks for the Rod Brasses.
The rods are unavailable from Roundhouse, and several Linda models I have worked on have needed replacement rods, so I am now offering them for sale.
Finishing the rods does require some soldering skill and a 3.2mm drill bit. The brass spacer behind the front crankpin needs thinning down by approximately 0.6mm to allow for the brass parts to be fitted. I do offer a service to fabricate and fit these for you, please contact us for a quote on doing this work.
